Succulent Bar was born in Houston, Texas in April of 2017 (by accident), far before we were ready to become business owners. I (Jess) had the smallest inkling of an idea for a succulent-themed business, and before I knew it, I was booking events without any sort of brand or logo.

Fast forward a few years, Succulent Bar now offers custom favors, gift boxes, centerpieces, and planting workshops, and we have been growing quickly ever since – executing thousands of events and counting since 2017!

We grew so much in fact that, in the summer of 2019, we launched our sister company, Petal Bar, featuring interactive dried floral gifts, workshops, and favors, and we continue to expand.

Providing our community with unique and memorable experiences is what keeps us going. We believe we have the best job ever and are so grateful to be able to do something our hearts truly believe in. Thank you for the support and we hope to work with you soon!

MEET THE OWNER

hey there, i'm jess!

I’m a Texas-living, plant-loving, wife and mama of two with a deep rooted love for creating unique experiences for our community. I started working in events in my early 20s. From wedding planning to corporate events and concert production, I’ve done it all. My many years of event planning combined with my studies in interior design brought me to where I am today.

While I am the “visionary” behind it all, I wouldn’t be anywhere without my loving and supportive co-founder, Marcus, who just so happens to be my husband. Marcus is the man that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. He is our bookkeeper, our muscles, and our biggest cheerleader. Before coming onboard with Succulent Bar full time, he worked over twenty years in the Environmental and Oil & Gas industry. We absolutely love what we do and at the end of the day we do it for our community and our two sweet children, Noah and Emma. (Emma is probably one of the only two year olds on the planet whose first few words were “succulent” and Noah is so proud of his family’s business!)

We are honored to serve this amazing community and are so blessed by all of the wonderful opportunities that come with it!
